The Granthams at Mont-Saint Michel

"Our family spent a wonderful two weeks at the Domaine de la Hamberie. The peaceful and relaxing setting provided the perfect place to experience the charming villages of northern France while taking day trips to places like Mont Saint Michel, Honfleur and the D-day beaches. Our 4-year-old daughter spent hours in the pool and the barn that had been converted into a spacious playhouse and games room. Staying at La Hamberie was truly the best way to see and experience northern France. We enjoyed renting a car and exploring the châteaux of the Loire Valley and Versailles, as well as riding a bike into the village to buy bread for the day. Our hosts went out of their way to make us feel at home, and we hope to return again soon. "

"We had a perfectly relaxing time here. The setting is idyllic and it is such a difference from our hectic lives in a busy city.

The food, the wine and the company all complimented the beautiful surroundings making this a holiday to remember.

We originally planned a busy schedule of trips and visits, but when we arrived, we just chilled out and spent the whole week on site. We never regretted a minute of it.

We are telling our friends and hope to book again for a Christmas break."

  Carson Montieth's son choosing breakfast

"Simply wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a more comfortable way to experience this region. It has something for everyone and we all enjoyed new experiences.

My son had a great time, playing at the farm and  swimming whenever he wanted. He tried lots of new foods and especially enjoyed the continental style breakfast.

I had the opportunity to visit the American Cemetery and found the burial site of one of my relatives. It was a very moving experience.

We have told all our friends."
