Arrival time between 4pm and 6pm.

Departure time at the latest 10:00am

The prices include electricity, heating, gas and bed linen ( Towels are not included).

Cot and highchair are supplied free of charge.

The accommodation must be left clean and tidy upon departure.

To confirm a reservation, a deposit of 30% is requested. Please note the deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.

The balance of rental together with a refundable breakages deposit per Gite rented should reach us no later than 8 weeks before the start of the holiday.

For late bookings made less than 8 weeks before arrival, payment of the total cost of the holidayand breakage deposit are due upon reservation.

Breakage deposits are refunded within two weeks of the guests departure less any deductions for breakages.

On-site Regulations

1: On Arrival

On arrival at Ferme de la Hamberie 2019

• All clients must register at the Reception prior to entering the gites

• Full return of Security deposit is dependant on following the guidelines & regulations within this folder.

• A key will be provided and a member of staff will carry out an introductory tour of the property

• An inventory of the property will be provided along with the charges per item in case of breakages

• The regulations for use of the swimming pool will be provided

• Guidelines for use of public areas and facilities will be provided

• On departure a member of staff will carry out an inspection of the property 

Failure to follow these rules could risk your security deposit .

2: Public Areas

Public Areas at Ferme de la Hamberie 2019

• The public area in front of the gites is considered a quiet area and we request all guests respect this

• Ball games must only be played on the sport field 

• Disturbing other guests’ quiet hours between 22:00 and 09:00 is prohibited

• No music players or speakers in the public areas including pool. Loud music is not permitted in the garden areas.

• Equipment within the gites must not be taken out of the properties

• No smoking in any public areas 

  • Smoking is only permitted in private garden areas 

• The front areas of the properties is for vehicles and deliveries only

  • No garden furniture is to be taken out of the private gardens

  • The roadway must be left clear at all times - Unloading and loading excepted

• Rubbish bags to be placed in the green bins sited at the parking area - do not leave plastic bags with rubbish outside as this will attract animals

• Recycling to be taken to recycling stations located in the village, or at each supermarket and various other locations

Failure to follow these rules could risk your security deposit .

3: Swimming Pool

Rules for Swimming Pool

French Law requires that all shared pools with gates are securely locked when not in use. This is the responsibility of all users.

Failure to comply will result in a fine of 40,000€. Local Police carry out these inspections at random intervals. 

A key for the pool is provided for each gite and must be signed for. 

The following rules must also be followed:

• No glassware at the pool area

• No smoking in pool area

• No under 16’s unaccompanied 

• This is a shared pool so please be aware of everybody’s needs

• Respect other guests comfort at the pool

• Poolside hoist for disabled guests only

• Swimming nappies must be used where appropriate

• Leave poolside area clean and tidy when departing pool area

• Pool gate must locked at all times when pool not in use. 

• Please use pool and pool area responsibly

4: Cleaning Requirements

Cleaning requirements at Ferme de la Hamberie 2019

A member of staff will carry out an inspection of the property before departure.

All gites must be left in the same condition they are found

A set of cleaning products is provided under your kitchen sink along with a  broom, mop and bucket and vacuum cleaner. 

Breakages and damage must be reported to a member of staff as soon as possible

• Cleaning the Kitchen

  • Sink and surfaces cleaned

  • Dishwasher emptied

  • Crockery and kitchen utensils as inventory

  • Cooker, Microwave and Fridges cleaned

  • Floor swept and mopped

  • Recycling taken to recycling stations in village / supermarkets

  • Empty bins

• Cleaning the Bathrooms

  • Toilet and Seat cleaned

  • Sink cleaned  

  • Shower cleaned

  • Floor swept and cleaned

  • Empty bins

• Cleaning the bedrooms

  • Strip the bed linen and place sheets in laundry bags provided

  • Polish surfaces

  • Floor swept, vacuumed and mopped where appropriate

  • Empty the bins

• Cleaning the Salon / Stairs / others

  • Floor swept, vacuumed and mopped where appropriate

  • Polish surfaces

  • Empty bins

• Gardens

  • Remove dead ash from bbq

  • Order garden furniture

5: Animals and Pets

Rules & Regulations for Animals at Ferme de la Hamberie

• Registered Assistance Animals free of charge.

•  Standing charge if 100€ per animal. One animal per gite max

• Vaccination certificate,  Flea & tick treatment certificate ( provided by vet) obligatory. 

• Owners must be with their animals at all times

  • No animal to be left in the property alone

  • No animal to be left in the garden alone

  • No animal to be left in a vehicle alone

• All dogs must be on a leash at all times in public areas

• No garden can be considered secure

• All poo must be collected and disposed of - double bagged and placed in general waste

• Barking dogs will not be tolerated

• The swimming pool is strictly for humans. No animal is permitted in the pool area

• Guests considerations will take priority over animals

Any breaches of these rules will be treated with consideration but we reserve the right to request any animal be removed from site immediately.

6: On Departure

On Departure at Ferme de la Hamberie 2019

• The gites must be left in the condition it was found - refer to Cleaning Requirements

• The dishwasher must be emptied

• Any breakages must be reported

• The linen ( duvet cover, sheets and pillowcases) should be placed in the linen bags provided

• An inspection of the property will be carried out by a member of staff prior to departure

• The keys must be returned

Following a satisfactory inspection, the security deposit will be refunded.
